SIEMENS VECTRON MS for Freightliner

Freightliner PL had ordered at the Polish leasing company CARGOUNIT brand new SIEMENS VECTRON MS. The first loco was already delivered to Freightliner just before Christmas. These electric multisystem locos are equipped with ETCS and are licensed to run in Germany, Poland and the Netherlands. The output of the loco amounts to 6.4 mw on ac networks and 6 mw on dc networks. It is agreed with CARGOUNIT that more locos of that type will be delivered in the next future. The next VECTRON MS is going to be at Freightliner as soon as February 2023. The highly reliable SIEMENS locos are going haul predominantly FDE/FPL cross border trains with the commodity of grain.
