Freightliner Germany is happy to announce the arrival of a brand new open box wagon set. With an overall length of 11.3m each wagon is quite short and the loading weight amounts to 72 tonnes. Considering the shorter length of each wagon we are able to use more wagons within a standard wagon set than usual, which makes our transports even more efficient. For the first time there will be our new Freightliner livery in yellow-grey with a vertical “Freightliner” lettering. These new colours are going to replace the old green-yellow livery. The pictures show the new wagon set during discharge at the station of Teltow in the vicinity of Berlin. This wagon set may be seen together with our class 66 on our heavy duty aggregate flows, most frequently in the eastern and northern parts of Germany.
