Freightliner DE has been introducing innovations to rail transport technology since its introduction to the German market. We predominantly use the class 66 locomotive with a high hauling capacity, on a large scale. We pioneered using the maximum possible axle load on German railway lines. The heaviest train, which runs regularly with outstanding reliability, has a gross weight of more than 4 000 t. This would not have been possible without the unique rolling stock, which is designed according to our guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

JT42CWR (Class 66)<\/h3>\n
\n

The class 66 is a six-axis diesel locomotive, manufactured by the American company General Motors\u00a0 Electro-Motive Division (EMD). It possesses a capacity of 2 238 kW and a has a starting tractive power of 409 KN. The reliabilty of 94%. is one the highest which can be found on German rails The effective hauling capacity of up to 260 KN is possible thanks to the excellent cooperation of the generating set with the anti-slip system. The use of the original three-axle HTCR type bogies with the system of adjusting the extreme axes of the bogie parallel to the radius of the curves, allows it to overcome curves with radius attainable only for locomotives with two-axle bogies. Another advantage is the radar based EMD super series wheel slip control which helps to keep traction\u00a0 even when the rails are wet and slippery. Part of the JT42C locomotive fleet is approved for driving in Poland and Germany, which allows for run high-speed trans-boundary trains, without losing time at border stations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Wagons<\/h2>\n

We would not be a significant carrier of construction aggregates if we did not have effective wagons for transporting bulk goods. Our standard trains have a gross tonnage of 3 600 t, and with a favourable route profile and allowable pressures, it can be even more than 4 000 t. For the customer, this means a one-off load between 2 650 and 3 000 t and depending on the technical and operational conditions on the route, it may be even more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Eamnoss (E04A)<\/h3>\n

This is a four-axle optimized open box wagon design perfectly suitable for the transport of bulk goods, like gravel, aggregates, sand, coal, coke, limestone and cement klinker. Even timber logs can be moved with this hopper wagon. \u00a0Goods which need to be transported dry, can be secured by a tarpaulin, for which the wagon has hooks. The big advantage of this wagon is its design. Compared with a traditional open box wagon our wagon offers up to 29% more loading capacity, as the wagon can be loaded with 22.5 t per axle.<\/p>\n

The total wagon length is 12.76 m allowing to obtain a loading volume of 71.8 m\u00b3, which is equal to a longer traditional open box wagon. Wagon pay load on class D lines is 69 t.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Eamnos (E04E)<\/h3>\n

The latest version of type E04, characterised by the use of an improved bogie type and a lighter structure, allows now an even higher pay load of 71 t on class D railway lines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Extra short regular design open box wagon, adapted for transporting heavy bulk materials. Total length is 11.3 m, loading volume is 57.2m\u00b3, and loading capacity for class D lines is 72 t. With this design we can use even more wagons in a wagon set and are therefore able to transport up to 12% more aggregates per train with an even shorter train length.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Faccns<\/h3>\n

Self-discharge hopper wagon for transporting bulk materials, that has the capability of dosed discharging. Total length is 12.68 m, loading volume 49 m\u00b3, tare weight 22 t. On class D railway lines we can transport up to 68 t per wagon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
